My San Fransico Trip! 𓍙.ೃ࿔*:・

Hi! Hi!

Over my spring break, I went to San Francisco with my partner! He went to GDC, and I was there for vacation, hehe! I knew I wanted to go to AP and BTSSB AND I wanted to wear lolita almost every day!

Step one was to get all my egl in my suitcase! Thank god for vacuum seal bags! ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)

Day one: we did nothing, obviously, we just got there. Our hotel was fine, but it was one of those tech-y streamlined hotels = all kiosks, no people. I'm not a fan.

Day two: Angelic Pretty and Chinatown! I also lost my hotel key that day... what a ditz!

I relied on public transit because of the price, and I loved these street carts. My state's transit system sucks. So I enjoyed SF's ALOT.

I happily took as many pics as I could on my digi-cam, everything looks better! Obviously, you can't take pics or videos inside. I saw this dress and thought I would like it in person, but it just didn't click with me :/ So instead I got these!!
Lyrical Bunny Keychain. Lyrical Bunny Hair Clip. Chalmiere Headdress.
Nothing feels more brandwhore than having mascot accessories.
Now I use the tote bag for groceries, hehe!
Quick coord pic before Chinatown! I don't think I'll be doing any coord breakdowns because this post is already long enough! (ᵕ,,— ᴗ —,,) and let me make it longer with digi-cam pics!

Now for Chinatown! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´ Since it was my first day, I took a lot of pics! But here are my favorites! It's really pretty, I recommend going if you haven't!

The food was so good! I'm sure I gained like 5 pounds from this trip!
It's the year of the horse, and I REALLY wanted this!

Day three: Today was more relaxed since the rest of my week will be packed. I went to the SF MOMA, and I didn't wear lolita because I could only pack so much lol! The SF MOMA was amazing, it's 7 stories, and I got to see the KAWS exhibit. He's not my cup of tea, but I have a great appreciation and respect after seeing his work in person.

The cafe was okay and very expensive. :/

Day Four: I hosted a meet-up! Crazy because this is the EGL meet I've hosted, and it wasn't even for my own comm lol! (ᵕ,,— ᴗ —,,) It was just a casual meet in a garden near the conference where my partner was. A few people showed up, and they were all so kind and sweet! They made my trip all the better. SF EGL Comm, you guys are amazing!
And then I went BACK to Angelic Pretty with some friends who were attending the conference.

This time, I only picked up two things, since I actually spent less than I thought I would on my first day here! I got a Enchantlic Enchantilly ring and a Kira Imai sticker!

Day Five: Japantown and BTSSB store day! Though admitting I was getting to the point of the trip where I missed my home

Though admittiedly I was getting to the point of the trip where I missed my home, I'm just tired from the trip. So I didn't take many photos, but I did take videos, you can see them on TikTok or Insta @besitobambi they're linked to the left.

While I enjoyed my time in Japantown, it felt more like a Japanese shopping center. While Chinatown felt more like a cultural center, I'd recommend spending as much time there if you visit SF.

I was happy to find this EGG magazine, I thought of my gyaru friends! And wished I was shopping with them instead of by myself lol!

My first stop was actually BTSSB since they closed pretty early in the day! :0 While I was there, I met a lolita visiting from Boston! They were so sweet! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

I was scoping the website before I went, and honestly, I had little hope anything would fit. I had no experience with BTSSB, and the majority of their dresses have partial shirring. And with AP I'm used to their partial shirring not fitting me. HOWEVER!

I did end up finding this dress (Snow Dot Fairy), and I almost didn't try it on because of its partial shirring, and I was shocked to find it fit comfortably! It was way more forgiving than AP. I got a matching headdress and the charm chimes so nicely?? :0

I did some more window shopping, but my suitcase was already filling up. I couldn't fit more T~T

The favorite thing I ate here was some fruit mochi! It had a yummy, fresh fruit flavor, not artificial.

Day Six: Lots of random things this day! At the beginning of my day, I went back to the gardens to spend time with my partner. Then my friends wanted to go to Chinatown, obviously, I wanted to go back, I needed another pork bun!

Wearing my new JSK was a must and a risk, I was so scared of getting it dirty all day!

Can you tell I loved the time I spent in Chinatown? (ᵕ— ᴗ —)

My second favorite thing I ate was a tapicoa red bean cake? It looks like this, and it was the perfect flavor and texture! Now I need to find them in my city....

And at the end of my day, we went to IN AND OUT!!

I love In-N-Out (Sorry, Dick's Drive-In, I still love you), but I can't leave California without In-N-Out.

Just so you know, my order is

Neopolitan Shake

Animal Style Cheeseburger

Animal Style Fries

because I only get to eat In-N-Out like once every five years!!

Day six: Today was supposed to be our last day, but our flight got canceled! My city got some unexpected snow, which caused delays and cancellations at our airport. So with our flight rescheduled, we decided to spend our day at Pier 39!

We had a sundae at Ghillardeil Square, expensive but yummy!

We watched the sunset and the Golden Gate Bridge from afar; it was so pretty and a great way to end my trip!  („ᵕᴗᵕ„)
Thanks For Reading!
Bye Bye! ~

Hi Hi!  I've been in a bittersweet phase in life right now (not the substyle, but the emotion), so I've been dressing up more often ...
