My boyfriend and I have been dating for awhile, it was time to finally meet the rest of his family. That's how I found myself in Alabama for a week...and I had a lot of fun! I was also happy to take my digi cam for its first spin! ( ≧แ≦)
I've been to the south before but a week in Alabama in JULY?! The humidity almost killed me ( ꩜ แฏ
꩜;) This was mine and my boyfriend's summer vacation, but the main point of this trip was to spend time with his family. I've met his parents but now was time for the rest! It felt like family flashbangs over and over for the whole trip but they were so kind and welcoming.
Our first activity was the Tennessee Aquarium! ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

This turtle made me and my bf laugh, because it's the same evil turtle from Gumball.
This aquarium was absolutely beautiful! It was so large, the layout flowed nicely and they had two buildings. One for freshwater, two for saltwater.

The rest of the trip was spent in a lake house, it was nice to be in nature with NO service. I'm currently going through a "I hate my phone" arc. So no doomscrolling and seeing my screentime only be 3 hours felt great! The lake was beautiful and seeing other families out having fun created a joyous atmosphere.

It was the fourth of July, so we all wore red, white or blue, it was comical how EVERY person in the house wore one or a combination of those colors. My love and I were no exception.

Overall this trip was wonderful! This was my first time traveling without my mother and traveling with my love. Now I have so many fun memories and new inside jokes between the two of us!
