I went to a lolita swap meet! ˚୨୧⋆.

 Today was my local comm's swap meet! They have them three times a year and they're always so much fun to go to! This year I brought, my non-lolita friend, Lindsey along and she always makes me laugh!
I put myself on a tight budget however, only 60 dollars! :0  with the exception of finding a dream dress...which I almost did??

I love AP's Sweet Cream Cookie House! I like it in Brown, Mint and Pink (in that order)

I found the jsk on the left but I want the one on the right...and the mint in person just looked very diffrent? Less pastel. 

I know they're basically the same but one is more high waisted than the other and I know thats not flattering on me. I even took a picture with it, to imagine myself in it...I liked it but not enough to go way over my budget.

I'm of the mindset that if I'm spending 100+ on a JSK, I want the exact one that I want rather getting whatever I can. So I didn't get it...and it was immediately snatched up. Haha! 

The reason why I put myself on a budget was because I bought my FIRST Usakumya pochette FINALLY!! I had money set aside for the swap meet so when the BTSSB annouced a Lottery Pre-Order, I had to sign up! I actully thought I didn't get picked because they sent the invoice late.

My makeup! I'm really trying to embrace my curly hair in lolita. I can't think of any hairstyles though, aside from just wearing it down and loose...maybe the curls alone are the hairstyle.  ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Once I got home, I tried everything on and made a few coords before laying down and looking through my pictures. After all that, I re-heated some left overs. 

I recently got back from visiting my mom, naturally I began to miss her immediately and made one of her recipes which is my ultimate comfort food. We just call it arroz con carne, (rice with meat) what a great way to end my busy day.

Blythe Doll + Life Update! ദ്ദി(⎚_⎚)

 

Hi! Hi! Quick life update and a looong blythe update! It's been almost a full month since my last blog post. I'm currently in my spring semester of college which is usually the busiest, luckily I've been able to keep my head above the water and I feel good - just really REALLY busy! 

Other than school, I've been binging Invincible, a show I love deeply (might make a blog post about it)...And I found out that I'm lactose intolerant after a really bad flare up. How annoying!  Luckily I'm feeling better now, that's all for my mini life update!

Blythe Update!❤︎₊ ⊹

I've done a sizeable amount of work since you last saw her! The first thing I tackled was her hair, the wig I bought was pin straight (cuz it was cheaper) I used the straw method but my first attempt yielded no results HOWEVER my second attempted was much better.  

My second attempt was better because I used curl cream (you could also use conditioner) and then once all the curls were done, I boil washed her and let her set for 24 hours.

Once that was done I decided to fully disassemble her to get started on the customization!

Kinda freaky looking...(𖦹﹏𖦹;)

I finished up her eyelids and I'm so happy with how they came out, I painted them with gel nail polish and used the temp tattoo method!

 I'm a huge hello kitty fan, so having her on my eyelids just made sense!

This what her face up currently looks like, she needs more blush and shading! I did the tiiiiiiniest amount of sculpting to her lips to match my lip shape more. I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of the eye mechanism with it's new eye chips! (ᗒᗣᗕ) Updates on that in the next post!
