Curly Hair in Lolita ✧˚ ༘ ⋆｡♡˚

 Hello! I want to talk about curly hair in lolita, I haven't seen much other lolitas talk about it aside from a few BIPOC lolitas. Now I am Latina with 2c - 3a curls, so this conversation will be centered around that curl pattern and those that are similar.

For those with tighter curls hair than mine, look into these.

I was inspired to make this post because I noticed...I never wear my hair curly in lolita.

It's always straight, or just tucked away in braids or buns.

Outside of lolita, I take pride in my curly hair! I work hard on taking care of it, styling it, and learning how to maintain it. I started my curly hair journey only a year or two ago. (curlyheads know it's a journey hehe)

So here are some recent styles I've been trying out!

If you have curly hair, hopefully you'll get some inspo!

The first is just my loose, fresh curls! Washed, curl routine and dried. 

I think it's really cute, but doesn't suit certain KCs imo

Next, pig tails!! I think these work for casual and more OTT coords!

I tried a bun that embraced my curls rather than hiding them.

I like it, but I think it works best casual

Naaaaaaturally, I had to do space buns next! ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵)

I love this hairstyle with a rectangle headband!

All that being said, I've been writing this blog for a while (over a few months off and on), since I don't wear coords that often during the summer due to the heat. And I've since cut my hair LOL. I went from tailbone-length hair to shoulder-length hair. So perhaps I will make another blog for short curly hair!
